FAQs for Bank Delegates
Who is this program for?
The Bank Facilities Forum is for Managers, Directors, and Vice-Presidents of Construction, Facilities, Projects, or Design (or other similar roles).
To qualify, you should be involved in your bank’s branch buildings, manage other staff, and you must have authority to select vendors or contractors for your bank’s buildings.
How will I benefit?
The Forum is focused on real-world, tactical methods and solutions you can use right away. You’ll come back ready to do projects better, run facilities for less, and deliver building needs faster and more easily.
We accept just 50 banks for each event, so you can roll up your sleeves, share best practices, compare solutions and spending, with people who do what you do. You can ask others your own specific questions about your exact needs.
The Forum also lets you step back, put ideas into context, and make plans, versus putting out fires. And, your new professional network is an asset to use your whole career.
Why does my bank want me to attend?
You’ll bring back dozens of ways of saving money, saving time, avoiding hassles and rework, and delivering the best branch experience. Just one idea or new provider could save your bank thousands.
This isn’t theoretical; we focus on how to reduce your spend and improve your buildings. Your bank gets thousands of dollars in professional development for a minimal cost.
How can I go when I’m so busy?
We know you’re busy, and we guarantee you’ll never be out of touch. But this isn’t time away from work; not even close. This IS working on your buildings, full-on, all-day. Our alumni say it’s often “their most productive days all year!”
If you’ve got a project right now, come ask others about the issues you’re having; you’ll find an answer. This WILL save you time and it will save you mistakes. If you attend and don’t agree, we’ll refund 100% of your payment.
What does it cost and what’s included?
The $199 non-refundable registration fee INCLUDES your hotel for 3 nights, all meals, ground transport at the event, and the full program. For airfare, we have two options. You can pay your own airfare or, if your bank permits it, we will reimburse up to $600. The reimbursement comes from us, The Bank Facilities Forum and not any particular vendor. We’ve provided this benefit to hundreds of banks for over 15 years.
How do I guarantee myself a place?
Seats are first-come, first-served, and we sell out, so don’t delay. The Forum’s best feature is the intimacy of hosting just 50 bank delegates, so we can all share freely. To avoid missing out, register now at BankFacilitiesForum.com/apply.
Can I get educational credits for attending?
YES. Your time will earn you hours toward a future CBBP™ Certified Bank Buildings Professional accreditation. In as little as 18 months, you can display this designation from the American Bank Buildings Insitute, our partner, in recognition of your skill and experience.
Sessions at The Forum include material for the CBBP, so you’ll need to attend in order to earn the CBBP.
What kinds of suppliers can I source here?
Everything your building needs is here: We select and invite vendors of design, construction, signage, branding, interiors, electrical, HVAC, exterior maintenance, paving, energy options, furnishings, under-counter needs, and much more.
Our attendees say this one-stop shop is one of the Forum’s most useful features. Instead of fielding random vendor calls all year, you meet a hand-picked group of the best bank-qualified partners. You can ask other banks here about their preferences, too.
What should I tell my boss about attending?
First, tell your boss they should come, too!
Remind them that this program is entirely focused on how to save money and time for the bank. It’s two days of cost-saving, time-shaving, building-bettering methods and advice that will directly benefit the Bank.
Tell them it’s been recommended by 99% of attendees for the past 15 years. That some banks say “You absolutely need to be here!” and “It was the best, most useful event I’ve ever attended.”
Tell them it costs as little as $199 (and we’ll pay your airfare if the bank allows that).
Reassure your leader that with plenty of breaks and the invention of the cell phone, you’ll never be out of touch. You can ever pre-schedule daily call-ins.
Consider outlining goals you want to accomplish while you’re here. Promise to share what you learn with your team. And, assure your boss that the Forum is so good, it comes with a 100% money-back guarantee.
